Your Guide to the 2023 Crawfish Festival in Fredericksburg
The Annual Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival is a beloved Memorial Day Weekend tradition in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. In 1940, the Fredericksburg Jaycees was founded by local businessmen who wanted to raise money for local organizations. Since their beginning in the 1940s, the Fredericksburg Jaycees have continued to grow and support local charities and youth organizations with large fundraisers such as the Crawfish Festival. All the proceeds from their fundraisers help those in need in the Fredericksburg community.
The 2023 Crawfish Festival will be full of fun activities, live music, great cajun food, arts and crafts vendors, a kids’ carnival, and shopping the entire family can enjoy. You can check out the live music lineup on the official website. The Sweetwater Jaycees will also return to the 2023 Festival with their live snake exhibit!
